The Salzburger Almenweg Regions
The Tennengebirge region, which includes the holiday communities of Werfen, Pfarrwerfen and Werfenweng, lies in the heart of Salzburger Land, surrounded by the mountain world of the Hochkönig, Tennen- and Hagengebirge. Aside from its beautiful hiking opportunities, the region is famous for sightseeing attractions that include giant ice caves, Hohenwerfen Castle and bird-of-prey station, the Seven Mills and the State Ski Museum.
