St. Johann is a lively small town with a first-class infrastructure. Also well known as a shopping destination, the town has a population of around 10,700 and is located approximately 60 km south of Salzburg City. Alpendorf lies about 3 km from the center of town, for the most part an autonomous holiday island set amid green countryside. This part of town is quite distinct from the rest, offering upscale accommodations and dining, and with a special focus on sports-loving guests as well as children.
