Salzburger Almenweg - The hiking stages

Admittedly a rather long, though not at all difficult stage. Leaving from the Oberhütte we get off the forestry road after just 100 meters, branching off onto a trail to our left, which then constantly follows the banks of the Oberhüttenbach. We now drop about 500 vertical meters until we reach the Vögeialm, where food and refreshments are available. This inn, along with the nearby Fallhausalm, is a great place to enjoy a short break. We continue along a narrow gravel road, which leads past a number of alpine huts on its way all the way back to Forstau (approx. 11 km).
